About Me

My name is Tabatha Gell and I am a fifteen year old artist-in-making who is striving to pursue a career in the art industry. I have been making art for as long as I can remember and I aspire to do so for the rest of my life as art has been a significant part of my daily life.

My dad, @iainthody, is a concept artist for TT Fusion, and my mum, Lucy Gell, is a self employed printmaker and previously an animator at Cosgrove Hall Films. My parents, have been a tremendous influence on me and have encouraged and motivated me to do what I love the most.

I am currently living in New Mills, Derbyshire, UK and studying at New Mills secondary school. Art and Media have been a primary focus at my GCSEs as I am optimistic about later having a career in the film industry as an animator. Growing up in a generation surrounded by daily media influence I have been hugely inspired by the extraordinary talent of artists world-wide. I am still in the process of developing a permanent style so I love to experiment with various different mediums to create different feelings and moods.
